Omori, on the south-western edge of Lake Taupo, is close to a variety of activities including the popular Tongariro Crossing (one day walk), world renowned flyfishing, bush walks, thermal hot pools, boating and skiing on Ruapehu’s ski fields.
Turangi (ten minutes drive away) provides a variety of services including cafés and restauraunts, fishing supplies, ski hire and groceries.
