Rooms
Omori lakehouse has two luxury guest rooms with super king size beds, en-suites, tea or coffee making facilities and a superb view of Lake Taupo. These are spacious rooms, which are a haven to relax and unwind in.
One en-suite has a wet floor shower, and the other has its own bath.
Both rooms open onto a private deck with the best views of Lake Taupo. Paths meander around the property and down the bank for guests to explore the native plantings, trickling wetland brook area and bush clad slopes. These slopes are being reforested in native trees and ferns as a haven for birds, including tuis, bell birds, quail and pheasants.
Lounge
The main guest lounge features unique artwork, great views, relaxed seating and the warmth of an Erin fireplace. A cosy den opens off the lounge with an blazing open fire, bookshelves, fishing memorabilia, gun cabinet and desk . It’s a perfect haven if it’s too wet for the outdoors. Try your hand at fly-tying or a jigsaw puzzle.
Dining
The dining area features a large rimu table and open access to outside.
Tariff
$175 per night per double room. The tariff includes a special breakfast, and other meals are available by advanced request.
